Overview

 

Sparkle is an amazing tool to add a little sparkle to your batch files, or to your day.  Menu Magic can even write your batch files for you, complete with scrolling bar menus (with mouse support)!

 

In one tiny program, Super Sparkle offers over 18 options to help you create stunning, eye-catching, useful batch files.  These options include:

MENUS: Three menu options including vertical or horizontal SCROLLING BAR MENUS -- with mouse support! Or turn any text -or- graphics screen into a menu.

SOUND EFFECTS: Over 35 sound effects to liven-up batch files.  Our "ringing phone" sound effect will have you reaching for your phone.

BIG! Font: Display messages 8-lines high, anywhere, in any color.  BIG! Scroll: Scroll tall, dramatic messages across the screen.

WINDOWS: 250+ colorful styles, shadowed or not, exploding or not.

QUICK_PRINT: Print text (or any ASCII character) anywhere on the screen, in any color.

PAUSE: Pause from 1/3 second to several minutes.

FADES: Attention-getting fade-outs (screen transitions).

GET INPUT:  Get a 1 - 80 character user response, then save it to a file or to an "environment variable" (which you can later refer to in the same batch file).

COLORS: 384+, including "dark blue" and "bright" backgrounds.

VIEW FILE: View text files in colorful windows.

PROMPTS: Display dynamic prompts to ask users to press a key.

MONITOR/DOS: Determine what type of monitor, or which DOS version is being used. This can help you safely choose appropriate options elsewhere in your batch file.

 

Menu Magic (MM) will even write your batch files for you!  Run MM, then type in your menu options (plus a title if you like).   Menu Magic will then save your menu screen as an "executable screen" (nice!) and write your batch file.  You can run this batch file immediately to see how it will work.  You'd then edit this batch file to ensure it does what YOU want done as each menu option is selected.

The cost is $6 for Sparkle, and just $12 for Sparkle and P-Screen Pro. Before requesting e-mail delivery, be sure your e-mail system can handle e-mail attachments of up to 1.4 million bytes (the size of a standard 3 1/2 inch floppy disk).
